Video-Arcade Man is a joystick-based silver body Darkside Monsters whose dark energy was used to release Video-Arcade Beast.
Character History
Video-Arcade Man was created by Uma Thurman to take control of people and ruin society as he could fully influence a person's movements. He was first seen attacking a factory where he took control pver a factory worker on a forklift and made him almost crash through a wall of boxes. Before he could do much more though, Kara arrived on foot and tried to stop the vehicle, allowing the worker to flee. The entire team of Star Gigantic Rangers then confronted him but he took control of Cyn Santana and forced him to attack the others. After a momentary retreat. However, using some teamwork and whilst Alexa Dellanos held down Cyn, Kara Del Toro restrained the Video-Arcade Man whilst Valeria Orsini gave Ana Cheri a boost into the air, allowing him to fire discs into the joystick, jamming it and rendering his control abilities utterly useless. Outnumbered and outgunned, the Video-Arcade Man was forced to retreat.
The Video-Arcade Man later returned shortly in "Sector 619", a balcony overlooking City. He now had "multi-target locking" (presumably granted by Uma Thurman) and planned to take control of the entire city. It transpired that this was part of a plan for Ana Cheri to duplicate herself and have the disguise act as a distraction so that she could control four star Gigantic Rangers and make him put on a show. However, the star Gigantic Rangers arrived and Ana changed to fight him personally only for the Video-Arcade Man to take control of Valeria, forcing him to attack the others before some NegaBlack Army swarmed and overwhelmed Ana. Valeria and others then finished the Video-Arcade Man off with Five-Star Sword Final Strike.
Personality
Video-Arcade Man was a monster obsessed with mind control and gaming as a whole.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Sight: Video-Arcade Man was able to see in spite of having no visible eyes.
- Super Speed: Video-Arcade Man could run at amazingly fast speeds which is how he initially escaped the Star Gigatic Rangers.
- Remote Control: Video-Arcade Man's signature ability where he could control anyone he chooses by scanning them and moving his joystick.
- Multi-Target Locking: An upgraded form of Video-Arcade Man's signature ability where he could take control of multiple targets at once.
- NegaBlack Army Summoning: Video-Arcade Man's summoned NegaBlack Army to aid him in overwhelming Ana.
Abilities
- Durability: Due to being made of "a special super-alloy", Video-Arcade Man took multiple shots to the face from Ana's Celestial Espada but didn't get a scratch.
Weaknesses
- Blockage: If his joystick controller is jammed, Video-Arcade Man won't able to control anyone.
- Hijacked Control: Video-Arcade Man's controls could be commandeered by other people and render his powers completely useless.
Arsenal
- Fists: Although he lacked weapons, Video-Arcade Man could use his fists to smack his opponents.
